Gecko Edge uses passwordless sign-in. Instead of setting and remembering a password, you enter your registered email at app.geckoedge.ai, the system emails you a one-time sign-in link, and clicking it logs you into your account. The link is the credential. It is valid for a short window, works once, and stops working as soon as you have signed in with it.
The platform is built this way because passwords are the weakest point in most account systems. They get reused across sites, forgotten, written down, or leaked in third-party breaches. A magic link removes the password: nothing to remember, nothing to reset, nothing to leak. The one thing to keep secure is access to the inbox tied to your account.
Two practical points that catch people out:
- The link goes to the exact email on your subscription. If you enter an email the system does not recognise, no link arrives, because there is no account to attach it to. The address that matters is the one on your payment receipt.
- The link expires fast. If you requested a link earlier and did not open it, request a fresh one rather than clicking the old one. Expired links show a “this link is no longer valid” message.
If a link does not arrive within a minute or two, check spam, check the email you entered matches the one on your receipt, and request a new link. The “magic link didn’t arrive” entry covers the full troubleshooting path.
