Everything on Gecko Edge runs through smart prompts. You click a pre-built prompt and the platform runs a structured analysis against its internal football database. There is no chat box, and that is by design decision.
Each smart prompt is a carefully engineered piece of work: hundreds of lines of instruction text controlling which data the model pulls, the sequence of the analysis, the checks it runs on its own output, and the exact structure of what you see. Every prompt is built, live-tested against real fixtures, and refined over time. Compare that with typing a question into an open chat: you get whatever a sentence of prompting produces, and however experienced a ChatGPT user you are, you cannot optimise a typed question to this degree. Smart prompts exist so every user gets the fully engineered version of the analysis on every run, with nothing resting on how well a request is phrased.
There are 35+ smart prompts, in three families that do three different jobs.
League prompts scan an entire competition in one pass. Use these when you start a session and want the model to surface where value might exist today, rather than checking fixtures one at a time. A league scan answers: which games deserve my attention?
Fixture prompts go deep on a single match. Over 2.5 Goals, First Half Goals, BTTS, Asian Handicap and others each ask one specific question of one game, and return the model’s probabilities, fair odds, EV and Sanity Score for that market. Use these once a league scan, or your own shortlist, has narrowed things down. A fixture prompt answers: what does the model make of this game, in this market?
In-play prompts work on live matches with live data: current xG, shots, momentum, and time remaining. Prompts like InPlay Analysis and Goal Line Projections re-assess the game as it stands rather than as it looked before kick-off. These answer: given what has already happened, what is likely now? Live markets move fastest, so this family rewards users who are watching the game.
A simple session shape that uses all three: run a league scan to build a shortlist, then run fixture prompts on the two or three games where the output shows a Sanity Score of 7+ and +EV of 5%+. Save the opportunities you take with the Save Bet option on the bet card, which adds them to your +EV Bet Tracker, where you can filter and follow how they perform. If you watch games live, re-check the picture with the in-play prompts after kick-off. Each prompt family has its own how-to guides linked below.
