Why does my analysis sometimes look different from yesterday’s?

Gecko Edge works off live data, and the calculations update as new data becomes available. The model computes each analysis at the moment you run it, so yesterday’s run and today’s are two readings of a match whose inputs have moved in between. Bookmaker prices drift as money comes in, and team news and line-ups firm up through the day. The model refreshes its own data as well. Any of those can shift the fair odds, the EV, the Sanity Score, or the recommendation itself.

Act on the current reading. The run closest to your decision reflects the most complete information, which is also why analysing closer to kick-off tends to be more accurate. If yesterday’s run showed value that today’s run doesn’t, the price that created the value has gone, or new information has changed the model’s assessment. Prices moving the other way create value late in the day too.

If a change is bigger than price movement and team news can explain, or the output looks wrong rather than different, email support@geckoedge.ai with a screenshot and the chat URL and we will check it against the data feed.
